Lunch or Dinner: Arnolds. No trip to the Cape is complete without a visit to Arnold’s. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!...just a jog down the road off Route 6 in Eastham (Bike trail runs behind the restaurant) Be sure to tell Nate Nickerson (owner) that we sent you!
***They have an awesome minigolf course, great seafood, drinks, atmosphere, gardens, ice cream, and they cater to the bikers on the bike path with restrooms accessible out back in the parking lot by the bike trail as well as an air pump to fix those flat tires! Of course there are restrooms inside the restaurant as well. :)

Wellfleet offers Van Rensselaer’s for a nice evening out (try the salad bar with a small entrée), Bookstore Restaurant, Pearl Restaurant, or the Beachcomber, which used to be a Coast Guard station right on the beach and also has a night scene with live bands. Moby Dick’s is right off Rte 6, and is similar to Arnold’s in Eastham. Catch of the Day and Mac’s Shack also offer fresh seafood.
In Eastham, we have never been wildly impressed by the Lobster Shanty but it is conveniently located opposite the Salt Pond Visitor’s Center.

In Orleans, you may also consider Nauset Beach Club, the Beacon Room, or Mahoney's for more upscale dining. The Academy Ocean Grill is also in Orleans, as is the historic Orleans Inn and the Yardarm. Rock Harbor Grill is great.
Cooke’s is right near the Lost Dog Pub on 28A, and offers a variety of fried seafood and lobster rolls.

We had a wonderful Middle Eastern meal at Ardeo’s in Brewster.
The Whitman House in Truro is well worth the trip.
Provincetown is always worth a trip for the eclectic culture and wonderful art, shopping and dining. We like Bubula’s, Mews and Fannizi’s by the Sea. Also Ross’s Grill and Mojo’s. The Lobster Pot is a landmark as well.

If you happen to go to Chatham, there are many wonderful little restaurants along Main Street. We also like the Impudent Oyster, the Chatham Squire, and the Bistro.

This is only a sample of the fine dining and favorite family restaurants on the Outer and Mid Cape. It is fun to order cooked lobsters in Eastham at Maurice’s Market or Mac’s Seafood and take them home and eat on the deck. Stop and pick up fresh corn and tomatoes at a roadside stand and you will have the best dinner ever!
